HHAOE MOVIE OF THE WEEK: RHYME & REASON (1997)

 

This movie is an absolute must watch for anyone into hip hop.  From tracing hip hop’s roots back to the 70s in the Bronx to how gangsta rap wuz formed to even discussing the way hip hop is today this movie is arguably the best documentary put together about hip hop ever made.  With interviews from artists like Kurtis Blow, KRS-ONE, Chuck D, Ice-T, Dr. Dre, Nas, Cypress Hill, MC Eiht, Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G, Wu-Tang Clan, and many more you will not want to pass this movie by.  Also there is rare footage of Tupac’s Memorial Service and 1 of the last interviews that Biggie ever made.  If there wuz ever a bible for hip hop…….this would be it……so if u haven’t watched this b4……know your history b4 u start reppin the culture…….and if u have seen it…….watch it again and remember where u came frum!!!!!!
